The financial statements will also be audited now, some investors will not touch a pink because the fins don't have to be audited

Uplisting can potentially bring more liquidity. Some brokerages block trading some pinks. So with traders able to grab shares, liquidity can potentially increase. Also, some traders don't like the level of transparency in the pinks. Audited financials at higher tiers are a good thing for those traders to see.
