Dallas Cowboys lineman Josh Brent’s release from jail on Sunday came with strict new conditions, including a ban on driving and a requirement that he wear a drug detection patch at all times, according to court documents.
Brent, 25, had been at the Lew Sterrett Justice Center since June 27, when his $100,000 bail was revoked because he tested positive for marijuana.
The judge’s order for Brent’s release reads in part: “Defendant must wear a drug detection patch at all times; No driving under any circumstances; Defendant must obtain drug patch within 24 hours of release from custody.”
