I have no direct knowledge of this letter. I only know of it through the posts of Cazual and a few others. I have no idea how SVFC could get the ID's of folks who buy stock online. To my understanding, online brokers won't reveal information about clients without authorization. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but I don't think so.
