yes...trying to erode confidence...and yes...delisting in Canada would probably help...

but fundamentals will do it...bringing in more buyers/funds and overwhelming short...as well as uplisting...as well as being acquired.

When you short, you have to be mindful that once the price hits a certain low pt, it may become attractive and create buying pressure upwards. Also, you will have to cover those shorts, and this will also help the price rise. Finally, the potential counterparties to the shorter will start disappearing if the stock goes on a nosedive, as they may start to believe the price won't recover and may start dumping shares.
