and you would be able to tell the difference between a missle with a nuke warhead inside and one that had a dud? lots of equipment that was bought even this year could be in play, however, if they were grandfathered thru 2014 and IMSC was not qualified or safety act designated then perhaps they weren't on Logan's buy list yet...just a matter of time till many get replaced .do not forget: TSA wants to go no nuke...
I've seen the Itemizer in just about every airport I've been through in the last couple of years, and it's no surprise they haven't replaced them yet because Implant's technology isn't approved for passenger screening yet. YET. Can you please explain what you mean by it looked "new"? All the TSA agent does is place a swab in them so they're not going to physically look abused. Also never seen them swab passengers as they were providing their IDs. New practice for the holiday week?
