LOL Welcome back DSU I have missed you. You realize that silk powder for cosmetics has been around for decades right?
I dont blame them for usinG the "spider" as a gimmick but what they are selling is in no way better than regular silk for the purpose.

Looks like amsilk is at the point Nexia was at when it went under. "we can make goo, we can make powder, we just cant seem to get thread"

Sorry Downside only, you lose again!

AMSilk has developed the world’s first industrial manufacturing process for Spidersilk, a protein which is similar to natural spider silk. The biocompatible material is used as building block for super strong fibers, innovative medical devices, and dermatology products. Moreover, it is now for the first time available as cosmetic ingredient.
...
“We are excited to have our production now at a point where we can supply the cosmetic industry with unique and functional new ingredients,” says Dr. Lin Roemer, co-founder and Head of Research and Development at AMSilk.
Besides supplying raw materials to cosmetic manufacturers, AMSilk is also testing a concept study within the European Union for special cosmetic products under www.spidersilk.info.
Spidersilk is available as a powder, microbeads, and hydrogel. For sampling and product prices contact sales(at)amsilk.com.

NO FIBER, Because they STILL can not make a fiber that is any stronger than BM Silk!!!
