just a couple of things and then i will drop this topic and give you the last word...
this is an investors' conference... at events like this the noise level of applause does not necessarily equate to the number of rear ends in the chairs... i've been in presentations with a bunch of folks which ended with a whimperish smattering of applause as folks hustled for the exits...
CTIX did receive the least favorable time slot at the very end of the day... yes... of course, they did... i am confident that the event organizers were organizing for many months... CTIX didn't even own the compound until a couple of months before the party... invitations had long been sent out and rsvp'd... time slots selected... and at that point Brilacidin was orphaned and so could not be invited to the party... or perhaps had been uninvited until it found a new home... so of course as with any well-mannered last minute dinner guest... they got the last available seat at the table...
while the aggregate number of investors presented to would likely increase the odds of something good happening eventually... the reality is that this is akin to looking for a job or selling a property... one employer is enough... one buyer is sufficient... all CTIX needs is to find one well-heeled investor... so even if there were only five butts in the seats... one good one would be sufficient...
then there is this... with 10 minute or so presentations being made one after another... the presentations were not the meat of this event... the one on ones are where the action is... and we know nothing whatsoever regarding those critical encounters...
finally, there is more to Brilacidin than meets the eye or ear... or at least than first met my eye or ear... Dr. J did a fine job of expounding on the possibilities and for me that was much appreciated... he also taught me to say it with two long "i"s when i was using the short sound... for these things i am grateful... :-)
that this important (invitation only) investors conference is viewed as ineffectual is just one more sign for me that we are in a period of irrational pessimism regarding CTIX and the market...
