First, it's confusing so don't be surprised. You are not alone. It's take me time to get it mapped out. And you really have to read the disclosures in detail.

As for the phone advise, it may as simple as the words you chose. I would fully expect an employee of PHC to say they own Hear at Last. They would be thinking of the retain chain which they do indeed. You hover interpreted as meaning they own HRAL as well. That's the error. It is complicated since the logos and website are almost identical. Frankly, I think both firms should take efforts to better define who they are and how they are related.

The future of HRAL virtually in hands hands o PHC, since the only revenue they get is royalties on PHC sales. Those sales dropped by more than 40% last year, along with the royalties paid to Hral. Pig would say that HRAL has two potential strategies (1) pray the PHC figures out the business model, (2) expand into other sectors on their own. There was some evidence of this in the last finding where it said additional capital was required to expand.
