Currently there are 'illegal miners' all along the river and well upstream from the property indicating that the river banks as well as the terraces are auriferous and beg to be explored and mined. 'Illegals', using very poor mining methods, are producing 1kg of gold per day directly across the river from the Carabaya property.

That's 2.2lbs of gold per day.

2.2lbs = 35.2 ounces

35.2 ounces x $1,250 = $44,000

$44,000 / day! Using their hands and shovels!
