It is America, Monkeyfrog

everybody with money and business transactions gets sued. But nice research on litigation. Some of those cases are 5 years old. We need copies of the complaints, discovery results to see if the plaintiffs had any merit and disposition information. A local attorney service would be needed to get the pleadings and dockets. Then more substantial information would be available from the counsel involved. You want to go down there? There might be some frogs in those swamps too!

monkey - not in it for great management

wild guess - could that explain the 500,000 court settlement thing they PR'ed as a great thing.

Yes it's important. At least it's more verification that some of the assets do exist. If the lien was for some big money it also tells us something has value???

Looking for a silver lining? The most most successful small buisness owner I know went BK at one time. Again, got in here because I thought Katrina delivered a golden egg. I'll take luck over smart any day.

Thanks for posting a great find, will try to follow up with some DD. What a convOLUTED way to try and figurE out VALUE. LOL

PS - There are many vehicles to sweep through the entire US to find suits and judgments. It is easier if you do it in one swoop. It cosrs about 150 bucks for the sweep.
