You can try to wire $ to etrade. I was able to have the funds in my etrade within minutes using Chase & BOA. you can do it online at home but it does cost $25, pending how many shares you getting the $25 is well worth it if it prevents you from missing out on a run that would bring hundreds or thousands $$

In Etrade, i just simply transfer funds from my back account and they are available for investment immediately, as long as the amount transferred is less than my etrade account balance.

No bank transfer charges or anything.
