I enjoyed the up in most pfds I hold ystdy

I too share disappointment in no kick up today in common and pfds

but


when I come out of the forest to look at the trees

1. I see great numbers yesterday

2. I wonder - what was new - news ?


Was not the bull case built on earnings and reversal of tax credits to get to net zero by year end?

So if I am that cocky - what would be news /

If someone in the administration said - for example (not a prediction) - yes we want private money - a lot of private money -but we still see a role for FNMA

that would be news that would double all stock prices - common and pfds

the great numbers on Thursday - might they in "street" language have been built into the cake?

and in street language and thought and wisdom - is it not the practice to buy the expected or the rumor and sell the news?
