Thats been quite a little industry in Europe for some time. The cooking oil is re refined and resold.
(Here they complain and pay to have their drains unblooked !!)

I have another friend who collects waste oil from garages and puts it through a cat cracker he built and re refines it here. Before he bought it. Now they pay him to take it ! (Regulations and beurocracy dont make it easy !)
You can run a diesel on the stuff with very good pre filtering.
I will remember tomorrow where I came across the article and post. ((Hopefully if alzemiers doesn't completely take over !LOL)
