kinda true. You needed to be a share holder by oct 31, 2013,to receive "GEAR" shares. You could have got some on Fri ( like I did) an request to do a 1 day settlement ( cost extra money) and also receive your gear shares. After that, yes, if you bought on nov 1st or 4th, you would not receive gear shares. EXCEPTION - if you have bought LVGI during Nov 4th-8th and it has an astrick w/gear share ( which most people don't know if it is or not, unless company) you would receive LVGI shares with gear shares attached to it. It would transfer from the seller to the buyer between these dates of nov 4 -8
