I disagree, if people were invested in this simply because they felt every patent would be litigated I don't think most who diligence would be in this, because of exactly your point, legal system delays.

There are many ways to monetize patents.

1. Litigation - but this is a lengthy process, legal delays, expensive, wrought with risk etc, as we know.

2. Licensing, you may get less money but it addresses many of the drawbacks of number 1 and more importantly, for a pre-revenue company, that is unestablished in the market, builds credibility.

3. Sale of specific patents, not optimal and could be interpreted wrong by the market and a buyer as a sign of weakness but it is an alternative.

I understand why it is important to VRNG to get a win vs Goliath first, it will scare others into licensing at better terms, in the long run, I get that. I get that they want a 'stick' to scare others.

BUT, management also needs to re-assess. This is not a private company, it is public, your pps suffers if you don't show wins, if you start losing credibility and that is the path they are on.

Many other IP companies license technology without costly and drawn out litigation. Management is failing here. And the market is letting them know. Its simply retail who has bought a 'story' is too unwilling to see what is truly happening because they have lost money that is holding this company up right now.

As I said, if we don't see a win in the next 3 months look out below. I have also said I am waiting until December and HJJ's settlement conference to see what happens here.

Effectively, my rope with management has gotten much shorter, if nothing positive is developing by then, I take my loss and kiss this goodbye.
