I fully agree Walt, The past delays at Ruby were due to unforeseen reasons until this last one. Obviously the government shut down got us but we should have secured the explosive permits in hand in plenty of time before we needed them. This resulted in a few weeks delay that was magnified by the government shut down into a 5 week delay and counting.
Since this is our first mine I can forgive this error but I have told Mr. Leopold that we better not create any further delays. He has assured me there will be none.
As for Fraser I am still thinking this is the extra work needed to become a huge multi mine player in today's political environment in BC. By dancing to their tune now it may pay off in spades down the road.
