James Bondage - You ask several questions and assuming you are sincere in asking them I will try to answer.
1. I try to convince others to share my point of view because that is normal human behavior. We all do it. No matter what the issue: politics, religion, UFO believers or whatever. We believe we are right and we want everyone to be as right as we are. You posted your point of view and if you didn't post it to convice others to share it, why did you post it? The only other reason I can think of is to show everyone how smart you are should you be right. Vanity of vanities.
2. I mention how right I was on January 11 and throughout last year (except once) to add credence to my arguement for being right this time. On this board most posters are working hard to find the best system possible for trading. Backtesting systems is a big part of what they do. I am simply saying I am probably right this time because I have been right so many times before.
3. You ask what will I say If I am wrong and this is not wave 3 of 5 down. I will say I was wrong. What will you say if you are wrong? I would guess nothing.
