Yes. There was a trade for .50 this morning as that is what it opened at. So what does a market maker trying to get the price above .488 really mean? Why would someone want to do that?

While what you are suggesting is, I guess possible, I see it as highly unlikely. MP West Canada, is not in the business of flipping stock. They are in it for the oil. JMHO
