What?? Ummm... maybe this will help.... the cookies are accessed by the trojans... just as they can be accessed by the RB cgiscript.

As a matter of fact, while your browser is open, any cookie - not just the lycos cookies - can be used. In fact, I've written software that does exactly that - piggyback on a browser to tranfer and receive files. Its a lot like FTP, only you can get around firewalls.

A lot of trojans do exactly that - piggyback on Internet Explorer. When IE is active, so is the trojan.

Try this experiment mike984

Exit from ALL programs currently running on windows. Then hit Ctrl/Alt/Delete one time (ONLY ONE TIME)

While the taskmanager is running it will stay on top.

Run Internet Explorer and go to RB, and find IEXPLORE in the Task Manager.

Watch the "memory usage" for a while. If the size changes on a constant basis that's suspicious.... but when the size changes fluctuate with different values, you probably have a trojan program piggybacking on your browser.

It is very noticible on RB.... and almost nonexistant on IHUB.
