I understand all that...and agree...but the questiion was.....

I actually believe the PGA tour prohibits players from thanks sponsors...sort of an unpublicized rule.
A couple of them did it with Callaway early last year..once...and it hasn't been mentioned since. I'm guessing they were fined.
My guess is Finchem doesn't want the winner's interview to turn into a nascar type thing.

But they could all mantion sponsors on social media...Tiger could do that.
