jrinphx,

I think you are, hastily even if understandably, jumping to conclusions there. Many forms of financing are available, not exclusively dilutive ones. IMO, KC as also PJ, is well aware of the need to conclude the financing that was not concluded with the Robbins group and only fractionally concluded with Granite. The secret is to go step by step, achieving one aim after another, without giving any kind of exclusivity.

Once the Texas lawsuit has been settled, and once financing has reached completion, many additional objectives will become feasible. In the meantime, there is nothing that can prevent SunnComm from continuing to improve its technology, and working on new ideas and different sources of revenue. I myself cannot see what could be gained by any kind of immediate PR, as long as the Texas lawsuit imposes a quiet period on the company. Texas is famed for the rapidity of its legal solutions, so I see no reason for thinking that we need to allow for months of delay on that account.

I consider it to be important that both old and new management are big shareholders and warrant holders, because it gives us the mathematical certainty that the motivation to favor shareholder value will be especially strong. The shake-out that was basically caused by the XCP rootkits should ultimately strengthen the leadership role of SCMI-MMXT by making it clear to all that the only company capable of producing a complete solution for CDs, DVDs and any combination of these -- a solution able to meet the requirements of purchasers and of the recording companies alike -- is SCMI. In this connection, I look forward to reading the outcome of the upcoming investigation of the Macrovision technology utilised by EMI, in Europe and in North America.
