I picked up an ASUS T100 at Fry's electronics today. They had one in the store and it was (big surprise) in the wrong place in the store. The clerk indicated that a number of people had been asking about it. The manager "looked in one more place" for me.

I also ordered one of the Venue Pro 8 from Dell. The STATUS on the DELL page indicates a delivery date of 10/30/2013. I have the 2-day shipping so I will know if the 10/30 date is correct, sometime tomorrow.

On one side you state that T100 is sold out. Whose problem is that-Intel or the OEM who made the T100?

I think that Dell surprised some of the other vendors with their tablets and hopefully they are scrambling to come up with competing designs. I'm surprised that HP doesn't have something in this space.

Hopefully these things will make it into our local stores (Best Buy) for me soon as I'd like to play around with the Venue 8 Pro and Venue 11 Pro.
