At which level? The platform level or the CPU level? I think Intel is clearly ahead at the CPU level. They have both the higher volumes, and the lowest cost process tech to ensure it. On a platform level, it must be closer, given Intel's chipset costs, as opposed to AMD's lower cost I/O bridges.
