Cramer's show is a bit difficult for me to listen too as well , have to have the volume way down low , the carny-pitchman yelling is grating.<g> There have been tremendous momo's earlier in the fall on some of the energy plays that were fabulous gainers (and later shorts) like CPST and BCON played caught for tremndous gains , or the recent solar plays SPWR & STP , and the recent bidding up of clothing IPO, UARM . He's mentioned some very solid plays too , though I love that he captiluated on INTC around $23's right before it ran back up to near $28 , lol ( what a gift )

I try to keep a running track of his calls here , almost all have yielded great trading opps.

Regarding SNDK , he called a "buy" on Dec 12th @ $47, and I had complete agreement with the call , after shorting SNDK down from that overbought area posted earlier in Nov . But that double bottom support was unmistakable on SNDK in the $46/$47 area in Dec , and it was a no-brainer that shorts would not dare want to be short it into Jan, though it ran once again up a little too far too fast , and got too overbought .

I never played SNDK based on Cramer's recommends only following my own DD and trading it frequently , but have played BRCM on them . One thing some forget of his having many contacts with with Hedgies and Fundies , and I've learned to read a little more between the lines of his spiel . Anyone trading the markets or indices now who considers themselves "adroit" to any lessor or greator degree , realizes the practices of big $$$ trading which no longer follows the old "buy & hold" strategy . They want to run something up like BRCM into eps , they will .
...or Oil. They'll short them down again too after they run them , like AAPL. The best way to trade the markets is -->long then short , and buy bottoms and repeat.

Charts can tell you somethings , and be entertaining ... I like to have even more direct contact with the tape .

Jan 26th ....SNDK and BRCM both report eps.
