It is nice to see the SEC cracking down on these companies who either promise or ultimately use use bogus reports to fleece investors.

Yes, it is, and the volume and tone of the SEC comments in that regard have been becoming much more serious. The SEC, and the Canadian regulators, are very aware that just about every US mining fraud has a bogus "NI 43-101 report" involved.
