I believe the conv. preferred stock was sold to raise new capital, that comes with a cost to existing shareholders.

the capital ratios are improving, loan portfolio quality improving, another profitable quarter

book value $3.88 vs. market value of $2.60 (per share)

recently stronger BID support and buying @ ASK.

longterm hold & mold position for me :)
