Alan Brochstein...
I just addressed most of this in my post, kurt the sleepless. I will add though...
its about ir methodology & the professionalism a company wants to project. From experience, i've always found it ultimately detrimental for a company to get into the middle of hype or bashing done on public boards. Its a non win situation, wh/ only excerbates the issue.
i've found, as I think you'd agree, that the interview process w/ a professional as yourself, wh/ addresses some of the pressing issues that investors have is the cleanest & most clarient way to clean up the waters of communication when misinformation disputes arise. You have a track record of public discourse & honesty so the medium itself doesnt come into question the way a public board does.
Public boards have their purpose & can be effective in keeping up w/ developments if one can cipher between the wheat and chaff. But for a company to use them as a forum via other posters is bush league. Again, I hope Kurt doesnt waste his time w/ such folly.
lastly, in re to your comments involving grassroots, I appreciate your frankness and honesty. It is an association worth questioning when you look at all the other companies, some shells, wh/ have been pumped on there. The move away from them by Scott is indeed a good signal.
the potential w/ the indust is of large possible magnitude. phot's business model so far is intriquing. And the transparency by Scott has to be applauded.
But each step also has to be examined w/ a sober eye & questioned. Just the fact, that the indust hype alone could blow this stocks pps up 10fold doesnt mean that the company isnt beyond simply exploiting that & exiting w/ a nice payoff. I'll continue to be interested in your take b/c so far your approach in analyzing this company as taken that sober approach.
