No I'm not... not that it's any of your business. I posted that news story because it was current and my Google news search notified me of it and it looked relevant.
I just don't like Comstock Mining and I'll tell you why. 1. When current management took over they tried to hype it at around $3.50 when it obviously wasn't worth it. 2. They hired Corrado De Gasperis to run the company and I thought at the time he was unqualified for the job and was being overpaid as well. The fact that the company has not lived up to expectations.. and has continuously diluted shareholders at the same time, destroying any potential for gain confirms he was and is the wrong man for the job. 3. The company has continuously promised to be scrupulous about protecting the environment and the community while doing its best to skirt the rules at every opportunity.
The only ones getting rich off LODE are the insiders and De Gasperis. Regular market investors have literally dozens of solid gold mining companies they could invest in that would represent their investment better. Bragging about the size and number of claims and the amount of potential gold in those claims does nothing to enrich shareholders unless the company can bring that gold to market in a profitable way that respects and protects the best interests of the small shareholders. I have seen nothing to suggest to me that this is the mission of the company. That's why I'm down on it. The company's behavior and the current stock price over the past couple of years seem to support my position... don't you agree?
