I guess I don't understand reverse splits.

I thought if you owned 100 shares at 25 cents.... and there was a 1 to 40 reverse split you would own 25 shares at $1 PPS.

Have you ever seen a reverse split without dilution occurring. The scenario you state occurs when there is massive dilution. Split first, then an expected pattern of continued dilution. That is not the case here.

That being said, I think an S1 share restructuring is considered more respectable and overall would be a better and more likely scenario.
