But Homer, You honestly think that a statement of fact that says" The City/County of Denver Fire Department has banned ALL fire retardant claiming products" would not be somewhere on the net for even a novice to find. that is tough to swallow.
why haven't the builders in the area stopped using the product?

The Dallas Cowboys are moving to LA. You won't find anything on the internet for such a huge and important chain of events. I know this because I know everything about the Dallas Cowboys. Don't bother researching this it's true because I said so. Everything in the NFL community is not put out there in the terms for the layman and web-searcher to find.

what intumescent coated LVL is common practice? there is one i-joist producer using it, trus joist, but no LVL producers.

name them if you are so sure. it should be easy as there are not very many LVL producers.

i see some fire retardant coated i-joist producers on youtube: Jager and Pinkwood. their coatings don't look like intumescent coatings, but they look better than Eco Red.

LP has a fire retardant coated OSB, but it does not look like an intumescent coating either.

since trus joist is "the number one brand in the industry" of i-joists, i would doubt that their Flak Jacket is getting held up on anything:

check out the video. i am hearing that Eco Red will not hold up in the same test. not even close.

Sherwin Williams and others have some spray on coatings too that look as effective as Eco Red.
