#43677 RE: Fasctrack #43676

Fasctrack - I don't know the specifics of the contractual relationship between FASC and CTI. There may be non-disclosure agreements that prevent Brian from stating how the equipment is being used. Something to consider is the reference from St-Malo - the machine he and the 2 saw millers went to view in operation is viewed as "the miracle machine" by the owner. Where ever this machine is located, the owner seemed to be very clear about not letting anyone know how it is being used since it is an advantage in his business.

There are trade offs FASC likely has to make in order to sell machines. NDA's seem to be part of the model at this point. Something that needs to change in my mind, because it clearly impacts getting the message out.

What do we take away from all of this? For me, well, there seem to be a lot of applications where the KDS is in use and profitably so. These niche businesses are good at keeping their secrets for a while, but the word eventually gets out.

To do a sales recap, this is what I think we know at the moment:
- 1 machine sold and delivered to a St-Malo customer (please, no more noise about the motor size. There is likely much more to that story and the constant wailing about it doesn't provide any information)

- The Mexican connection is looking for another machine
- St-Malo indicates 3 KDS order possibly by EOY

5 machines in any previous year was seen as great progress. After the near depression over the last several years, this seems like a good re-start to me.

Fasctrack,

Brian told me last year that he would remain quiet until he was current with his reporting.
