Although I don't love Knicks ownership, Anyone who is negative on the moves they made for the 2013 -2014 season isn't being fair.
I love the bargnani trade, what did they give up novak and Camby? Plus they took guys that were 3 years on the cap, and now they are only two years out.
I like the signings of World Peace and Udrih.
And I believe Shump is going to have a big year.
Do I think the Knicks are the favorite in the east of course not. I like Indiana and Miami for that. But I think the top 5 all have a shot, because I believe Wade is in decline. Indiana is improving. Chicago it is all about Rose. Nets it is about if they play enough defense, and if there young coach can blend them together, plus how much do KG and Pierce have left? The Knicks in my opinion have the 3rd best team in the eastern conference, but the difference between 1 and 3 is minimal at this point, heck 1 and 5 is not a huge difference. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
