If 20nm Snapdragon parts show up in devices during 1H 2014
on good authority (at least as far as i am concerned; i am not willing to backup what i am claiming) 20nm tsmc fpga parts will start sampling by end of year and quite large parts will start appearing in q1 and by q2 even i might have one; one of the smaller parts that is.
You may have a point but without any ROI it is difficult to keep on investing. OEMs will loose faith in Intel product road map. Even Qualcomm products are mostly based on 600 and not 800. Yes two can co-exist. Intel is trying to break into this market and Qualcomm is trying to protect its base. There is huge difference. New CEO is manufacturing guy. He is not going to make this kind of mistake. I do understand this very well.
