Had a few short stops set just in case the market sold off this afternoon but looks like those will expire un-filled : )

Just curious- I know you use stop loses on positions and follow them up or down obviously.. but do you ever play around with buy and short stop orders when initiating a position? I rarely see people talk about them but thats been one powerfull tool for me over the last few years.. Of course there is the occassional short at the bottom, or buy at the top scenarios but for the most part- it really helps me alot.. Im not doing much other than watching here, but I did have a few short stops set like I said- just in case we sold off.. and if I had just initiated those positions at noon time id be covering them for loses now..

So many ways to play this game its great isnt it? Either that or we are all are a few cards short of a deck : )
