VRTY does not look like they are "organic". Non-GMO, yes. But it looks like the see a need for some fertilizer, pesticide and herbicide--just not as much as most farming.
I do not usually buy organic, because of the expense. And they are more expensive because of the yields--they go down when you do not use the typical inputs.
But non-GMO and concentrating on improving the health of the soil seems, to me, to be a winning formula that addresses a growing concern by consumers.
