If I were an AMD investor, I'd worry more about where that leaves A64. IPF is so far niched in the high end, that Conroe wouldn't be a threat, even if it were 4x faster (that's a little poke at Steve Jobs... :-)).

while using less power than its competitors. Just like
Conroe but in mid to high end servers, not desktop PCs.
