BB enlighten on CS meaning.
*CS is Custody Service, stocks that have ad all services suspended with exception to custoday service at the DTC.
To be clear does this mean a stock could have all services suspended BUT if it still has custody service at the DTC then there is a chance said stock might just be tradeable at a few brokers?
Not at one like TDA of course that would say CHILL.
But the mere fact that the stock can have its paper shuffled by DTC
vault workers (maybe), means the broker can charge a fat fee to handle trades in the beast. Or accept them in order to get client to open an account in first place?
That's only reason I can see for some zombie fat O/S things to do their scam P&Ds. If no broker handled a stock, or it was stopped by SEC and thrown on grey market, why would it have any volume at all.
Am I reading this right?
