Nobody per say pumped. It was thought that this company was coming out of a silent period and were going to begin filing financials.
Hence people took a position in the hopes of a lotto pick. Plain and simple. Most, including myself lost money on this play as it never panned out. There was no one group "pumping" as you say.
I got in as a tip from one of my members, taking a relatively small position and exited at a minor loss.
