It's interesting that of 3 Swedes who have opined here about SIAF' s ownership of SJAP, two think it's 100% and one thinks it's 75%. If the issue was discussed in Stockholm, how did Solly explain why they officially report to SEC ownership of 45% and can claim a much higher ownership in an IPO at another exchange, considering each % point of a 700m+ sub is worth a lot of money that may belong to somebody else? I would of course love to see us claim 75% or 100% ownership b/c that would mean a special divi north of $1 for each share a s/h owns! Not to mention obligations that come with a higher ownership as RD pointed out, like 75% or 100% of the $50m needed for the abattoir etc...

You c/b right. W/b unlikely to designate DH status to a foreign (US) "controlled" entity in light of the purpose of why DH's are provided in the first place.

Here's a good article helping to explain what DH designation is all about: http://dimsums.blogspot.com/2010/11/new-litter-of-dragon-heads.html

Also, keep in mind that obtaining DH status brings with it additional lending from ABC.
