When it comes to calling out conservatives and the Republican Party for their paranoid antigovernment schizophrenia, no one does it better than middle class warrior and Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren from Massachusetts.
The Republican party and their right-wing echo chamber has spent the last three years concocting and promulgating carefully orchestrated lies about Pres. Obama’s signature healthcare reform, the Affordable Care Act(Obamacare).
In this powerful clip, Sen. Warren text Republicans to task over their sabotaging of our federal government and their endless hissyfit over a caricature version of Obamacare which she describes as an “imaginary healthcare boogeyman.”
We will never know how the Republican establishment was able to convince so many poor and working-class conservatives that a much-needed health care reform that will finally bring access to affordable healthcare to over 35,000,000 previously uninsured Americans is, in any way, shape, or form, a net negative for them, but it’s a good thing that we have progressive warriors like Sen. Warren to set the record straight.
