Ya, in the cc, one of the inventors, Emil Malak stated, and I quote ' It could be $1 billion. I feel that is not enough, but that is up to the board'

By guess is that the bod will be looking north of $1.2 per share.

It's worth it once a buyer agrees to the valuation. Otherwise, could be higher or lower.

Thanx. How do you arrive at that figure, if you don't mind me asking? Any sort of model or table? It seems to me that any offer will be far less than potential licensing & infringement value, even short term, because the IP is so far reaching.

In the conf call Emil Malik says that a "big operator" stated that the VPLM patents are worth $25 billion... then he goes on... saying something like "its not difficult to guess who it is"

He also says that Skype is WORTHLESS without the VPLM patents.

(Most of us on this board know that MSFT agreed to acquire Skype for $8.1 billion)

VPLM's application was 2 years before MSFT's application, (which was subsequently rejected)

So, if awarded, the VPLM patents will affect the ENTIRE planet's Voice Over Internet Protocol network.

Licensing fees will be required.

I foresee a bidding war erupting between GOOG and MSFT and

we get $5 per share after the dust finally settles.
