So you're suggesting that NNVC should delay the development of drugs for humans for a couple of years to do it in animals (with a market a tiny fraction of the size of markets for humans) in order to first gain money and credibility? Might be a reasonable approach if you were very uncertain whether your drugs would work or not (if not, you haven't wasted nearly as much money) but with data that is as extraordinarily powerful as NNVCs (100 % survival after 21 days of a dose that killed ALL of the controls and ALL of the current best drug in a week or less.

That would be insanely wasteful IMHO, both of income and of human lives.
