Interesting that someone associated with Senator Patrick Toomey was watching that. The Senator asked a question at a recent hearing about the return of private capital to the mortgage market if the third amendment (income sweep of the gse's) is allowed to stand. One could also ask why eminent domain for local municipalities on mortgage loans can't be allowed if the federal government is allowed to break the rule of law for a "higher purpose". (Note to mh)Once you allow the third amendment, you lead yourself down a slippery slope. Note also that Pat Toomey is a republican senator from Pennsylvania.
