Just a wild guess, but the delay could have been due to a confidentiality agreement between the company, MJFF, or sources used in the paper. Notice that all the pages are marked confudential. A quick check reveals that exactly 150 days have passed between the publishing of the paper and now. Seems like an odd amount of time to write into an agreement, but it is a nice round number...

I think that the MJFF had to agree to release the report. That is why it is out now.

Interesting times ahead for the company and its shareholders.

p.s. Amgen paid $250,000,000 for GDNF depending on how the deal was viewed.

Answer: The company has very limited headcount and cash resources to do everything necessary. I am pleased that a decision was made to hire a 3rd party to create a powerful and meaningful write up.

Hopefully, MJF will recognize the superior nature of MANF and reward management with more grant money.
