Why would they RS first? They still hold assets after the spinoffs, but not like they have right now.. They will still own 71.43% of western diversified mining which owns a portion (102 mil shares)of each of the spins.. IMO they will need to RS to have the stock worth anything... I would not be surprised to see a divy date followed by a new ticker and RS date...
