Unless "midway" can be misinterpreted as the island of Midway, it looks clear as daylight to me:

"midway through the fourth quarter"

I don't see how midway through the fourth quarter can be interpreted any differently. October 1 on my calendar isn't midway through the quarter, the month, or hell, not even the week. The company's message was quite clear to me -- midway through the fourth quarter = midway.

While I agree it would be nice to get preliminary Q3 details like other companies that preannounce sales results, I disagree that the company was vague. Heddle specifically said MIDWAY through the fourth quarter. There's no reason to think MIDWAY means day 1 of 90 days. I think people have selective memory of what was said, but we have a conference call transcript that clears it up. There is no need for a semantic discussion. Midway Q4 is promised.

Again, I agree having an update today would be awesome, but it was no way, shape, or form, even remotely implied directly or indirectly that it would be forthcoming.
