I'm still long here, but the government shutdown had me looking around for puts too. I decided not to thinking they may do the last minute thing. Good think I didn't. Everything rocked yesterday.
Gotta be careful here with Apple. Still got a possible iPad announcement, possible China mobile, And earnings coming.
Icahn can definitely pump the stock a bit with his antics, but, other than the swings I'm not too sure he will help investors in the long term. 160 billion dollar loan? Seems kinda drastic and investor oriented and I don't find long term value in Apple the company in a big risk move like that.
