If you're a business paying a transcoding company, and you find out that the transcoding company cut their costs significantly and didn't pass any savings to you, would you be happy? Maybe the business will end the transcoding company's contract and go straight to Destiny - or maybe they will be mad Destiny was involved.
I know of one example where something similar happened - all it did was make the customer really mad when they found out - they had hard feelings for BOTH companies. The truth always comes out - it's not if, but when. People may not always understand the details of technology, but they recognize being taken to the cleaners every time they have all the facts.
