AZ...Pennsylvania is certainly a different state...we have an aging population combined with a huge influx of Hispanics seeking a better life than offered by bordering states. I live in an agricultural area where their help is necessary...the fact is whites are not willing to do many of the jobs available. Things are further complicated by the fact that our cities..once thriving manufacturing centers are a wasteland. The capital, Harrisburg is bankrupt with many more surely to follow. I would venture to say...having lived here 50 years that our politics is as corrupt as just about any other state.

The article is correct....there has been no marketing in my area...perhaps Philadelphia, Pittsburg, Reading, Allentown, Harrisburg are different.

How will small companies in the 2-50 employee markey react?

They will initially announce they are no longer contributing to dependent coverage. Spouses and children that were once covered largely on the employers dime will be forced to the exchanges.

Will employee compensation increase the 5-10k that they save to help them buy comparable coverage on the Exchange? No

Most will be eligible for subsidy...at the taxpayers expense.

Cost will be shifted from business to taxpayer.

That is why I am not a big fan of Obamacare.

I am compensated per employee per month...I can actually make more money enrolling the people kicked of the group plans and forced to the exchanges...at least initially until the employers decide to offer no coverage. I would estimate 10% have already indicated that is what they are doing at next renewal. About 20% have said they will no longer pay anything toward dependent coverage.

It is insane that we are producing additional uninsured that will be subsidy eligible....the cost to the taxpayer will be much higher than originally announced...no link...just my opinion. Problem is...we won't know the true cost for 5-10 years. By then...all the slick politicians will be long gone.
