Well, look @ it this way: you get screwed either way, if the trading does not get halted the company will dump stock and R/S until your stock becomes worthless. At least if the trading gets halted, they can't suck in more people. People complain all the time about being screwed by scam companies, yet when it comes to stick it back to them they won't do anything.
